the hospitality industrie took over....

long, long time ago the people of the Philippines happen to be real and friendly. In their heart was a natural hospitality. After 35 years i have to come to one conclusion: that natural true and real, from heart to heart hospitality does not longer excist.

It is sold out for dollars, for more and more, for a greedy lifestyle, for a nation that becomes to be a nation of lyers, "barrowers" and professional beggers. Yes, yes i know a shipload of "yes maybe some, but not me, not my family" will be… Continue

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her allies want to stay beyond 2010.

MANILA, Philippines - With Malacañang's plans to stay beyond 2010 now made clear with a resolution in the House of Representatives, people should now band together and register their opposition, a civil society lawyer said Wednesday.

Law professor Harry Roque Jr said the resolution by Batangas Representative Hermilando Mandanas is by far the clearest proof that

WOW GLORYA is about ready sentenced to die????

MANILA, Philippines - Christ was sentenced to die because of a mob, but he did not cheat, kill or lie.

On this note, a law professor scored the claim of a Malacañang ally who said President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is being persecuted based on mere perception.

"Nakakakilabot talaga yan. Ako ay Kristiyano. Sa aking paniniwala, si Hesukristo ay hindi nandaya, hindi nagpapatay, at hindi nagsinungaling. Napakalayo po at ayoko nang isipin pa beyond that (That's very revolting. I am a… Continue

dear Reverend brother EF, allow me to extend my sincere appreciation for the “small” things that you do for Mindanao, but because these things are many and constant, they accrue to being great and rare from a foreigner. i only regret that much as i’d love to be with you to give you a hand in the alleviation of our misery, i cannot readily now. not because of fear for my life (we go vacationing there and nothing untoward happens), but because my son needs me the most - while schooling competently, has a health condition and i’ve got to be somewhere near all the time, ready for any emergency, as hubby’s also away. i know you’ll understand.

however, we do not lack in men of valor in that beloved land, just invite them over to you, and they will love you in fact for that. they get shy sometimes, that’s all (maybe for lack of a credible leader). but if it’s any consolation, i want to assure you that you’re always in my prayers. a lot of people are praying for our people there, too.

tho a great deal of times we don’t get to see our Father God’s anwers right away, we know we’re never wrong in asking Him. that’s what pleases Him, and it’s always natural to go ask Him. we rest our case and rest our faith in Him now. i see only that there’s something to be resolved first in the hearts and minds of our Muslim brethren. we have patience for that, as Christians. let’s just continue praying while doing something useful for peace – like you already do. yes, let’s pray, sans the continued politickings of those who perpetually want to see “red” , begging up to now to see heads rolling from the pursuit of Peace which they themselves couldn’t afford to try to do for us. as is true right from the start, it’s only been just us, Mindanaoans, we’ve always been faring on our own.

i hope and pray that Christians and Muslims cease to fight each other out, our children stand to end up being losers, too - alienated from each another. to die for peace need not happen, peace is survival of the weak and the strong alike. we’re only as strong as our weakest link, and we need to be strong to fully develop.

let’s choose to cooperate with one another.

again, thank you, Reverend, for being on your toes all the time, never resting, actively waging peace not war, nor war-mongering. God bless you in Mindanao!

hello sir, i wonder what ef means:) anyhow, thanks for the comment. i just watched a documentary in Qtv regarding pearls the other night and 'twas a revelation how and why pearls are really precious. a strand of pearl in the pre-colonial times would cost around 4 to 5 acres of land. a pearl in God's hand :) surely, we are His gem! God bless
