Taboan.net  is both a place to find knowledge resources and news  focused on development issues.  It is also an interactive webspace where people  can share their work, participate in discussions and link with civil societies to promote a better Mindanao.       

The key product offered by Taboan.net is development knowledge. The main tool for making this product available is a hybrid website, a combination of  news portal and  social network  providing a platform for knowledge sharing  and networking opportunities for various categories of users. 
   
     The website will highlight topics on

• ICT for Development,
• Capacity Building,
•  Environment Protection
•  Volunteering
•  Arts/Culture. 

A special section is also dedicated to Civil Society Initiatives and their contribution to the  Millennium Development Goals.

In the long run, Taboan.net's  content will be comprehensive, but tailored to the needs of specific audiences. It will include research findings, best practices, case studies, news and other information on development projects.

The content will be provided by individual members of the site, civil society organizations and public organizations that are representative for their field of activity, based on content partnership agreements and, as much as possible, for free.
