Sanctuaries of Endemism have been established in different locations within the island of Mindanao and two (2) of them have been identified for a serial nomination: The Mt. Apo Natural Park and the Mt. Hamiguitan Wildlife Sanctuary. They are located in the provinces of Davao del Sur, North Cotabato, Davao Oriental, and in the city of Davao situated within in the island of Mindanao, Philippines. Mabuhay

One of the biggest tragedies of Davao City is the failure to implement the Davao City Water Resources Management and Protection Code. Reasons: an anemic local government and an inutile NWRB jealous of its powers under the national law. It's been 10 years since the law was passed. AAARGHH!
